Earlier today, cancelalation of CNBlue‘s “Bluestorm in Jakarta” which was scheduled on November 26th. In their statement, FNC Music explained that the cancellation was due to difficulties with the local promoter, Starlight Management.
Starlight Management released a press statement regarding the issue which resulted in the decision to cancel the concert. They explained:
CNBLUE 2011 Asia Tour Concert “Bluestorm in Jakarta”, the first concert by CNBLUE, who is scheduled to perform in Jakarta, November 26th 2011 at JITEC Mangga Dua Square, finally confirmed to be cancelled. The reason behind the cancellation, according to FNC Music, is due to the inability of the promotor reach perfection on preparation of the concert.
Since the beginning of the preparation, Starlight Management Indonesia already tried to fulfill the terms and requests from the artist management. From the location, promotions, until the productions. Just like we announced on our press conference, the changes in venue from Skenoo Hall, Gandaria City to JITEC Mangga Dua Square D minus three weeks was a straight request from CNBLUE management.
We have try our best to continue the concert by trying to fulfill the conditions and options that have been given until D minus 3 concert. But at the end CNBLUE management decided to stop all the concert preparations. This condition made the CNBLUE management decide to cancel the concert in Jakarta.
We as the promotor deeply apologize because of this. Especially to the people who have been at loss morally and materially, especially to the fans, media partners and also the sponsorship partners.We are fully responsible of all the ticket buyers. About the refund mechanism will be announced as soon as possible.
